United Auto Credit - Loan Review from Tucson, Arizona
Early this Jan my car was stolen and when I reported to UNAC they did not believe me told me I was lying and called my parents harassing me, when the police finally found my vehicle I had to pay almost 800 dollars to get my car back into my possession, yes it sucks to have to pay for something to get back that was stolen from you. So that poot me behind in my car payments I then got the car back and UNAC reposed my vehicle days later my father gave me 1300 dollars to get my car back and I have been making my payment every month, The repo has its own charges witch were added to my load and those charges where sapose to be placed at the end of my loan and they were not so very mounts I have been making my payment it has been partial, while I am thinking my payment was being made on time.
I was called by some *** name Ruth who told me I had to pay my entire loan off over the phone of 5300 or they were going to take my car agin, she also told me to go buy a buss pass and to save my breath. I have been more then responsible with this car loan but they have literally been driving me up the wall calling me, my family members, co workers and friends and Harrising me when they are getting full payments every month. I hate This lender so much that it makes my stomach hurt literally every time I call when I hang up I need to have a strong *** drink cause they stress me out.
I wanna pay off this loan so bad it kills me. When u go to buy a car if they say Unitrd auto anything say no just run super fast and don't look back

FDCPA VIOLATIONS
I am a former employee of UACC. We were actually instructed to hang up on customers if they requested a supervisor, or to send to the (supervisor) voicemail.
Also, the calls transferred to supervisors are not recorded and this line was used to intimidate and harass the customers. I have never worked for a company who had total disregard for the FDCPA or for the respect of their customers in my 10+ years of collections. The customer's were referred to as "high risk deadbeats" and therefore were treated accordingly.
I was only there a short time and I am amazed they are still in business. Good luck if you have a loan and they will repossess if you are only 10.00 behind.

>I SENT A PARTIAL PAYMENT
I have to believe that United Auto Credit doesn't offer flexible payment plans ("Pay-as-much-as-you-want-when-you-want.") so, to be fair, even though their collection practices leave a lot to be desired, you were the one who started this. Let's play fair here.
Making alternative payment arrangements to a sub-prime lending company doesn't stop the collections. So now, you know.
Also, please find your caps-lock key and click on it. Thanks.
This has to be one of their minions replying to this post. I can tell by the rude& smart *** comments left in response.
Also they all keep using the same keyword "subprime ".
Also so you guys know..pick up a thesaurus and find another word to use, or try this, tell the truth. That the company is a piece of *** horror story for anyone that has the misfortune of dealing with them.
I love this. Instead of addressing what I wrote and seeing the truth there, you chose to ignore my reply entirely and accuse me of working for the company instead.
Nice try, but no. Even if I did work for them, your reply is still lame.
.
Fact is, I don't work for ANY financial institution. I work in logistics, practically at the other side of the career spectrum!
Okay? We good now?

Subprime is not a "keyword"; it's a legitimate description, but here you go; another phrase for subprime lenders: financial institutions reserved for lending to DEADBEATS who won't pay their bills on time.
